“Such a nice place to stay in Creel! If you're looking for accomodation, don't hesitate to book at La Cueva. Pili is the friendliest host, very accomodating and has definitely the best shower and warmest room I had on this whole trip through the Barrancas del Cobre. She also offered to take one of the other guests and me on several tours, for a very reasonable price. I'll come back to stay here when I'm in the area again!”

“We are so happy we rented this hostel! We rented the entire property, 2 rooms - 8 beds, for privacy and quiet. We did not share the space with anyone! The owner of the property is a very kind and accommodating person. She's a designer and uses upcycled materials for all her interior projects. The property is a few minute walk across the tracks if you come from the CHEPE station. The rooms are clean, spacious and well decorated. Do not hesitate reserving this hostel! Much better than a hotel!! Cash is only accepted at the moment. Prepare your payment as far in advance as possible. Thank you, Pili, for a memorable stay in Creel!!”

“It was such a pleasure to stay at La Cueva hostel in Creel. I stayed there for four nights and right from the start the owner, Pili, was very accomodating, helpful with recommendations and made me feel at home. She even bought me food and coffee a couple of times. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower and hot water is great. There are are a couple of rooms. One is suitable for a group or family, and the other one where I stayed has a couple of queen size beds. Also very eco friendly as the owner upcycles a lot of the furniture and decorations. I Would recommend this to backpackers as this was made available to me as a shared room although there wasn’t anyone else at the time so I essentially had a private room.”

Si visitan Creel, quiero recomendarles La Cueva Hostel, está súper cerca de la estación del tren, así que te puedes ir caminando a cualquier lugar, son habitaciones con todos los servicios, agua caliente, calentador para la habitación y su anfitriona es súper amable, siempre estuvo al pendiente de nuestra llegada. Pily nos llevó a conocer algunos lugares turísticos cercanos a Creel, es súper agradable y atenta. Un Hostel con un enfoque eco friendly, con todo lo necesario. Sin duda lo recomiendo.”

“Hostel en el pueblo mágico de Creel con habitación elaborados con materiales reciclados y enfoque sustentable, altamente recomendable. Un excelente lugar para hospedarse y cerca del centro, el precio se ajustó a mi bolsillo, sin duda volvería a hospedarme. Agua caliente y calentador son algo indispensable, ya que pasar el invierno aquí es difícil, además servicio de wifi y tv muy completo el cuarto de verdad, satisfecho))Es un lugar muy bonito, limpio y confortable. Su precio lo vale mil veces! Tiene un calentador, y una televisión donde se puede conectar a Netflix. Muy recomendable.”

“Pili is the real prize here. She does all kinds of interesting and pro-environment things. The furniture, light fixtures, and other stuff in the rooms is reclaimed or hand made from reclaimed materials. She's starting a plastic recycling center to try to address that huge problem. Also the room itself was good. The bed was comfortable, and the shower is crazy strong and hot. The room heater had to work hard because it was snowing, but it kept me comfortable.”
